There’s nothing uncommon about dogs snoring, of course — and many of us even find it endearing. Some breeds are more predisposed to it than others, but sometimes shifting a dog’s sleeping position is all it takes to get them to quiet down in their sleep. It’s important to note, however, that if a dog who has never snored before suddenly picks up the habit, it could be a sign of a bigger problem.

While many of us snore, there are a number of pets that having a snoring issue as well. No one wants to believe that their snoring can possibly be that loud. Coming to terms with one’s own less-flattering tendencies is never easy — just ask this little dog who, up until recently, was apparently oblivious to the fact that he’s been sawing logs. Tal Solomon recently decided to confront his furry housemate with proof showing how disruptive he can be while asleep.

So with that, Solomon recorded a video on his phone of the pup’s snoring, then later played it back to him while he loudly dozed away on the couch. As alarmed as the pup seems to be by the sound of his own snoring, the prank appears to be all in good fun. We can only assume he drifted off back to sleep moments later, knowing his owner loves him regardless. Watch the video, judging from the dog’s reaction, it came as quite the wake-up call!
