This brave dog saves his pal

This is the incredible moment a brave dog stepped in to save his pal from drowning after the canine got washed away by a fast-flowing river. The quick-thinking Labrador managed to grab hold of the other dog’s stick and yank him from the water. Footage from Córdoba, Argentina, shows a black lab eagerly chasing a stick tossed near violent water.

In the clip, a black Lab leaps into the water to chase a stick tossed by his owner, standing nearby. But as he grabs hold of his prize, the current takes over and drags the dog downstream. As he struggles in the fast-flowing water, a yellow Labrador standing nearby realises his pal is in trouble and immediately rushes to the rescue. Sticking his head towards the rushing current, the dog grabs hold of his buddy’s stick as it sails past and uses the strength in his jaw to drag him out of the water.

An incredible moment!

Amazingly, thanks to the yellow Labrador’s heroic instincts, the black Lab manages to regain his footing on the rocks and scramble out of the river. Both pups maintain an impressive grip on the stick. The yellow lab pulls his buddy onto a rock to safety. The black dog abandons the stick and starts shaking off. The yellow dog then walks out of the frame holding the stick, indicating victory. Neither dogs were injured in the video. The owner said in the video description “both pups knew the area well”.
