Dog Led Woman 2 Miles Out to Abandoned House – She Needed Her Help to Save Her Puppies

Dog Leads Her Into Creepy House! (Video)

33-year-old Krystle Woodward from Fowler in California runs a non-profit animal rescue centre called Pinky Paws ResQ. She was first made aware of the dog, now named Betty Boop, after multiple people called into the charity reporting they had seen her walking in the area. Betty Boop had recently given birth to her litter of 10 puppies. Determined to provide for her puppies, Betty would walk two miles into town to scavenge for food. She’d then walk two miles back to the country to feed her babies before dark.

It took many attempts over a series of weeks before Krystle finally rescued the stray. They were able to catch Betty in a trap –  but keeping her safe was another task altogether“I could tell when she looked at me she needed my help so I wanted to help change her life and show her real love.” They took her to the vet and stayed by her side for four hours while any injuries were examined. Soon after the anxious mum tried running to her puppies… Krystle let her lead the way deep into the country, down the vineyards, and into an abandoned and dilapidated farmhouse.

Happier chapter could begin!

Krystle explained: ‘I left work early and walked Betty Boop on a leash for the first time and played puppy sounds on my phone. She led me two miles out to the abandoned house after she cried and looked at me before she took me walking.” Finally, Betty began to slow her pace. Krystle screamed, “Oh my God!” as she realized Betty had indeed led her straight to her litter so a new and happier chapter could begin. “She trusted me to show me where her 10 puppies were found,” said Krystle. “This is truly a miracle to me.” Watch the video, I can’t even describe my emotions when I saw the puppies!!!

Now Betty is all smiles and is a “happy wiggle butt.” She’s a total sweetheart now that she and her puppies are all safe and well-cared for – no more worries. “She likes to be separate from her pups because they now have teeth. But she does spend some time with them,” Krystle said.

The puppies are named Amber, Citrine, Copper, Jade, Jasper, Onyx, Opal, Pearl, Rubyloo, and Sage. Four of them have been adopted so far.
