Boy Breaks Down Into Tears When He Reunites With His Lost Dog After 8 Months!

Anyone who has ever owned a dog knows that sinking feeling if they ever went missing. Even just for a moment. Or if you hear about someone with a missing dog — it just tugs on your heartstrings for them. Eight long months ago, an 11-year old boy named Rocco’s best friend went missing — his dog Jack. Rocco was devastated because his rescue dog just vanished without a trace. “I can’t explain how much Rocco cried and missed him for all those months,” the boy’s mother, Romi said. “But he always believed that Jack would reappear.”

Rocco and his entire family searched all over their city in Argentina to find Jack, after months — there was no sign of the missing dog. Rocco was not getting better over time in search for his dog, in fact, he was feeling more and more devastated. He didn’t want to think about life without his best friend, but the more time that passed, the more reason to worry. But a miracle was about to happen for Rocco and his family. After 8 long months — Jack was going to make Rocco the happiest kid in the world! An emotional reunion!

Soon after Rocco’s dream, a family friend spotted a stray dog roaming around a gas station — she immediately knew it was Jack! Rocco’s mom received the call from her friend and was in total disbelief! Rocco’s mom arranged for her friends to bring Jack home, but kept it a surprise from her son. “I told Rocco that I had a gift for him,” Romi said. “When I called him to the front yard and he saw his friend Jack, I felt he was reborn. He kept saying, ‘I knew it.’” said Romi. “Rocco always says that the most important things in life are pets and family. For him, they are one and the same.” Rocco is called outside to reunite with Jack. When he bursts into tears, I had to fight to hold back my own.
