This Dog Is So Scared At The Vet That He Is Doing Something Very WEIRD!

Weird reaction during a vet visit! (Video)

A fear of going to see the veterinarian is one of the most common phobias in dogs. Even the most happy-go-lucky canine may cower in fear as you try to coax him through the door of your veterinarian’s office. The most common reason that dogs develop a fear of going to the veterinarian is that it feels traumatic to them. Most dogs don’t like going to the doctor’s office as one scared pooch shows in a video uploaded to the internet. Many dogs are afraid when they come to the veterinary office and may show this fear as submissive urination, panting, drooling, avoidance, growling, snapping or biting.

In this video shared by Arizona native Joshua Snelling, his dog, named Ceelo, can be seen completely frozen on a examination table, despite the fact that he was safe in the company of his owner. This is my dog at the vet, this is what he does… he’s scared as hell,”  Snelling can be heard saying in the video. His dog visiting the vet has decided that if he stands very, very still maybe the vet won’t notice him. An unusual behavior, which shows his dog completely frozen. “He won’t move a muscle, like seriously… It’s like he’s stuffed, like he’s not even real. You should see when he gets the thermometer up his butt, he does the same thing,” said his owner.

Paralyzed by fear!

As with any fear or phobia, it’s important to understand that most dogs will immediately not get over a fear of the vet. It’s important to use patience and be consistent. Snelling, says that it’s the ‘”weirdest thing” while his dog appears frozen in motion. Snelling wasn’t too concerned about Ceelo’s behavior and even made gentle fun of it, calling it a “dog mannequin challenge“Watch the video, with more than 516,000 views, online users apparently enthralled by the dog’s behavior just as much his owner.
