Dachshund Makes The Most Adorable Dancing Partner – Quickly, The Dog Steals The Show
The dog steals the show (Video)
There’s an organization geared toward advancing Canine Freestyle, or synchronized dances for dogs and their owners. By advancing this little-known sport, the Musical Dog Sport Association aims to “share the joy of the canine/human bond achieved through positive training, music (and) choreography.” It is really cool to train our dogs and even much better when we can get them well-trained to give out an impressive performance. Perhaps no pair has done more for the sport than Emily Pyle and her faithful dancing partner, a miniature dachshund named Henrietta.
They rose to fame with this clip, which was filmed few years ago and shows them dancing and twirling in a routine set to saloon-style music. You just can’t help grinning while watching this pair and wondering how long it took for them to achieve this level of perfection. If dogs were allowed in the Olympics, this fancy-footed pair would definitely win gold! All dogs can be trained if you had the patience, determination and specify a certain time during the day to train your dog. It’s amazing how Emily was able to train a Daxi to this wonderful level! During an appearance on Good Morning America, Emily said Henrietta is extremely smart, “and she loves learning new things and doing tricks, so that’s all she needs to know.” But what are the dancing duo up to these days? Henrietta is showing no signs of slowing down, even at this ripe old age. Emily recently posted a photo of Henrietta next to the latest of what must amount to a pile of ribbons, this one for nose work.
Her age doesn’t stop her at all
And the proud “mom” didn’t hold back her praise after her little wiener dog won yet another ribbon around this time last year, for canine scent work: She does everything any other dog does, but she’ll do it on three inch legs, at an age most will quit, while barking. She will take your preconceived stereotypes of what she should and should not accomplish between her teeth and give them a good shake. Just when you think there’s nothing left to give, she’ll come back with more heart than when you started. No one can deny loving these precious moments with our dogs! It is what love is all about, it makes the relationship between you and your dog special, and stronger! Watch the video, the dynamic duo dance up a storm.
Don’t miss the lovely moment at the end of the video where the Dachshund brings her mom’s hat and lies on top of her and her mom kisses her.
Remember to always train your dog, be patient, and most importantly never overdo the treats to prevent your dog from getting overweight. Try using low calorie treats. They are the best for training your dog.
