Heartwarming Reunion – Man Travels 1,000 Miles To Reunite With Stolen Dog
Heartwarming reunion after 3 months and 1,000 miles away (Video)
This man named Dara Prak was devastated to find that his beloved Pit Bull named Titan was kidnapped from his fenced backyard one day. Dara got Titan when he was just a puppy, and the two quickly bonded. For weeks, Dara looked for Titan in the streets and shelters, but there was no trace of him. He posted about his beloved dog’s disappearance on his Facebook page, hoping that someone would have information that could help him. But Dara never lost hope. He always kept Titan’s leash and collar in his car, just in case he found his baby someday.
After more than 3 months had passed, Dara received a call from an animal shelter in South Carolina. They asked if he was missing a dog. When he said yes, they said they had found an abused, skinny dog walking along the road. When they scanned his microchip, it revealed his true identity. Dara immediately set out on a non-stop 16-hour drive to get Titan home. He was found almost 1,000 miles away. Dara and his girlfriend hopped in the car and drove to South Carolina as fast as they could. When they arrived, it was time for the reunion Prak had been dreaming of for months. However, he was in for a huge shock when he finally saw him. Shelter workers revealed that Titan was found wandering on a road, beaten and bruised, and his injuries were pretty severe.
They were both overwhelmed at first when they saw each other
Dara broke down as he saw his gentle pooch in the e-collar with an eye swollen shut. But for Titan, feelings of relief eased his broken heart. He ran to Dara, wagging his tail as he hugged him like he would never let him go! Dara thanked the shelter workers for tracing the microchip and helping Titan out. However, the rehabilitation was going to be a tough deal for him. We are so glad this story had a happy ending! Watch the video, it’s a heartfelt reunion between Dara and Titan after more than 3 months of separation and abuse.
