It is of course always important to be careful as a parent when you have small children and dogs under the same roof. A lot of patience and love goes into introducing a dog to a baby and it is a big event for any dog lover. For this family, their white German Shepherd welcomed the new baby immediately. A puppy himself at the time, Larry was immediately smitten with baby Quinn. Larry is 9 months older than Quinn and has been obsessed with her since the first day.

This video shows how the tiny baby forms the sweetest bond with the family’s German Shepherd, amidst the pet restrictions. Quinn and Larry,
from San Antonio, Texas, were always fascinated with each other. But Dad had strict instructions for Larry – no licking baby Quinn’s face! Larry is gentle and attentive with Quinn but never gave Quinn a kiss. So, poor Larry would restrict his affection to licking her hands, and often letting her climb all over him. But the baby is not old enough to be talking so communicates with actions. On the day this video was taken, Quinn was busy showering Larry with her usual hugs and kisses. She is so obsessed with Larry, that she just can’t stop adoring him.

The real joy comes in the dog’s response, it’s so adorable

Larry looks bored for the most part but then gets up from lying on his slipper and responds with something that makes Quinn squeal with delight. All of a sudden, Larry decides that it’s finally time to return her affections. “Quinn finally decided that she wanted kisses from Larry, and I think Larry was hesitant to oblige since I was right there. Eventually, he couldn’t hold out any longer” said Larry’s owner. Dad is both shock and amazed, as he watches Larry’s reaction.
