He has a very moving gesture!(Video)

The bond between a human and her furry four-legged friend is unbreakable. That is, until the time comes to say goodbye forever. For more than a decade, Mya Davis has doted upon her beloved little lap dog Simba. She and her mom found Simba (7 years old) at the local shelter when Mya was seven years old. Simba stood up on his legs and pedaled his front paws from his pen, furiously trying to get Mya’s attention. She knew immediately that the furry little pooch was meant to be hers. “We had an instant connection with each other. I knew this puppy was going to be my childhood best friend.” Simba made Mya’s every day brighter. He was who she confessed her secrets to, the sweet little furball that she cried to.

“I was the happiest girl on this planet. Simba is so full life; every family member, friend, and even stranger that has met him fell in love with him at first sight, just as I did. Simba wasn’t your ordinary dog. he was so much more. As the two grew closer and closer over the years, this also meant that Simba was growing older. These past few weeks have been hard because his time is near. He’s 19 years old (133 in dog years) and he’s still pushing. “I’ve been given an option to euthanize my dog, but I believe that Simba deserves to die a natural death, in the home where he grew. In these final moments, I am making sure that he won’t be alone.” So Mya decided to capture one of their final moments together on camera so she could cherish it when he’s gone. They laid down on the floor together and she aimed her phone at them.

But as she begins to talk into the phone documenting their journey together and reassuring him that everything will be okay, she can’t hold back the tears. But it’s what Simba does to his human that has the internet sobbing right along with Mya.This sweet doggie senses his owner’s grief. He doesn’t know why she’s upset, but he still leans over and nuzzles her, wiping her tears with his fur. She told him that it’s okay to let go. That she doesn’t want him to fight to stay on this earth  just because of her. Watch the video, she captured this incredibly touching exchange on camera. What a beautiful moment she’ll have to hold on to and cherish.

” I have to put my 19-year-old dog down soon. Him and I had a talk early this evening about letting go, so it can just be peaceful when he passes on, instead of being surrounded by strangers. I started to cry mid-conversation and this is him wiping my tears away. Simba means the absolute world to me and it breaks my heart watching him go through this. I do not know what I did to deserve such a loving and caring creature. When I look at Simba, I see fight, hope, and strength. I thank the man upstairs for allowing me to have such an amazing and loving dog in my life. I wish Simba an eternity of joy and bacon in doggy heaven. Thank you Simba, for being you.”
