Ace the cat is often misunderstood because of his unique appearance. He’s a bit different after losing one of his eyes to an infection, but he’s just the sweetest thing ever. Many of these animals are actually sweethearts who just suffered a hard life. Although he may look a little different, his owner knows how sweet and loving Ace can truly be. He was rescued as a stray kitten and has lived life to the fullest ever since. But people are often hesitant to greet him, and children can find him scary. Kids are often frightened by animals that have visible scarring, old injuries or even missing limbs.
That’s why it was such a surprise when one neighborhood boy has shown the internet just how sweet cats can be after he’s caught playing with Ace on an owner’s hidden security camera visiting their cat. After weeks of the same behavior, they realized that the boy had now made stopping by to see Ace part of his daily schedule. It was clear that the two had bonded to each other in their time together. It melted the owners’ hearts. Thankful for his appreciation for their four-legged friend, the couple let the boy know that he was welcome to play with their cat anytime. Ace has become good friends with the boy over time, even becoming so fond of his new friend that he runs outside to greet him when he sees the boy coming.
