Chimp reunites with human foster parents! (Video)

Limbani the chimpanzee was tragically rejected by his mother at birth. It was touch-and-go in the very beginning of his life, but thanks to a team of humans providing exceptional care and important medication to combat the pneumonia he quickly developed, he not only survived, but today is a thriving and adorable primate. Even though Limbani lives at the Zoological Wildlife Foundation in Miami, Jorge and Tania pop by the sanctuary to visit the little sweetheart.

They cared for him around the clock for the first few months of his life giving him his nebulizer treatments and antibiotics. “Without human intervention and modern medicine he wouldn’t been here today. Tania and Jorge can go without seeing him for a couple months and his reaction is always the same,” the Foundation explained. The video of the trio’s reunion has gone viral and it’s no wonder why. This cutie pie is so precious! The reaction Limbani has when he lays eyes on them is simply heartwarming. He is distracted at first, sipping his drink out of a straw, then turns around and sees Jorge.

Definition of TRUE LOVE!

Animals are very aware of friends and foes, and if people had been unkind to him he would remember that. But Limbani is nothing short of ecstatic when he sees his old friends. He begins hooting, screaming and squealing adorably, then leaps into his arms. The 22-month-old chimpanzee throws his furry little arms around Jorge’s neck and they both warmly embrace. But then Limbani spies his foster mom and throws himself into her waiting embrace, seeking more hugs and kisses. “The pure excitement and joy when Limbani sees our close friends can only be appreciated if watched and heard,” the Foundation wrote.
