Fearless cat launches attack (Video)

A man and his dog ended up flailing around on the floor after discovering why you should never underestimate the strength of a domestic cat. While walking his Staffordshire Bull Terrier, the man was unexpectedly ambushed by an enraged moggy. The incident took place in the Stourbridge, West Midlands. The cat’s vicious attack – that left both walker and dog trying to defend themselves while writhing on their backs in the middle of the road – was filmed on a CCTV system.

In the clip, Simon Hart, 24, the dog walker appears to clock the cat hiding behind a dark car and starts pulling his staffy away. But the black cat jumps out and runs at the pair, charging towards them before sinking its claws into the man’s leg when he kicks it away. The owner was trying to kick the cat away while he was trying to jump on him. When the dog tries to counterattack that’s when the owner falls flat back on the ground. He managed to grip onto his dog throughout the ambush despite the animal attempting to fight back. Then a neighbor decides to help the dog and the owner to chase away the cat, but the dog makes the situation worse.

The cat wasn’t even scared of the big dog

It is crazy to see that the cat wasn’t even scared of the big dog and the owner and how it attacked them without being provoked. The incident took place just outside Simon’s house. It is not known if the man suffered any serious cuts or bruises during the encounter – other than to his ego. Simon said that everyone involved in the incident is ‘fine’ and that he believes the cat lived a few doors down. ‘I’ve never seen anything like it before from a normal moggy,’ he added.
