Lauren Barwick from Canada has loved horses her entire life. At a young age, she knew already that she would work with horses in the future. But life didn’t turn out as she had imagined. Seventeen years ago, she was working on a ranch that provides the movie industry with horses. One day, a 165-pound bale of hay fell on her, completely breaking her back. Lauren was instantly paralyzed from the waist down. But she refused to give up on her dreams!

Today Lauren is a professional horse rider. She might be in a wheelchair, but this is no obstacle for her to continue pursuing her passion. It’s a well-known fact that humans and horses share a very special bond, but these two might just take the cake! This woman spends most of her waking life in the confines of a wheelchair, but just because she can’t walk on her own two feet, it doesn’t mean she can’t soar above everyone else in the whole world! While her huge horse might seem big, and she might seem small in her wheelchair, it’s amazing to see how powerful their bond truly is.

As the horse circles around her with such amazing grace, it isn’t until she’s riding free on top of her steed that this becomes one of the most emotional videos we’ve ever seen. This incredible dance shows that just because she can’t use her legs, it doesn’t mean she can’t follow her dreams and ride a horse like anyone else.
