Dog throws a tantrum (Video)

Any parent knows that it can be a hassle to get your kid to leave the park when they’re having fun, and it turns out that the same is true for people with fur babies. All he wanted to do was take his adorable Husky, Dakota, to the dog park on this beautiful day. But like all good things, it eventually had to come to an end. It was time to go. However, Dakota wasn’t about to go home without a fight. He was clearly having way too much fun to leave. After all, he didn’t even get to explore everywhere and play with everyone yet! When his dad told him it was time to go, he threw a bit of a tantrum.

In this video, the Husky is lying on the ground with his owner’s hand holding his leash. “Dakota, let’s go; it’s time to leave,” she tells him, but the sad husky stays as still as possible. Dakota refuses to get up off of the ground no matter how much his owner pleads with him. He’s really trying his hardest to keep the fun going! Soon, his other owner approaches him from the side. He tries to pick Dakota up, and that is exactly when the doggy tantrum ensues. While we feel for this guy trying to get his dog to leave, we also have to admit that it’s pretty adorable and hilarant. Dakota flips over and whines, pushing his legs out to distance himself from his male owner. “Try and pick him up,” his female owner tells her partner. At this point, the tantrum grows louder and stronger, as a camera captures it all.

We can’t stop laughing!

Even Dakota’s whining is adorable as he pleads with his parents for just a little more time in the park. We mean, it does look like it was a pretty nice day out, so can you blame him? But does he really think his dad is going to give in that easily? Dakota groans and kicks out his legs again, putting up a fight. He just wants to stay at the dog park, but he doesn’t understand that it’s time to go home. Both of his owners laugh at their silly dog’s antics and continue trying to get him to come along with them. Unfortunately, Dakota is not ready to leave willingly! While his tactics aren’t clear, his cuteness sure is. You can’t help but laugh along with his owner as he tries over and over again to get Dakota up. Watch the video all of the way to the end to see how they finally outsmarted their stubborn pup into leaving the park.
