Baby steals german shepherd’s treat (Video)

Dogs are adorable, and so are children. A combination of those two is beyond cute, especially when they are good friends. Baby Ava and her German Shepherd Brano are one such pair. The two spend a lot of time together playing and generally just enjoy being in each other’s company. The pair, however, seem to somehow cross paths when it comes to food. With treats involved, the father grabbed his camera and started to capture the fight over food, closely watching how this charade played out.

Brano is seen to be distracted by some of the pieces that fell from his mouth when he was taking a bite off the treat, the remains of whom are now hidden nicely behind the toddler’s back. After licking up the crumbs, he notices that a large part of his bone is missing. He looks at the obvious suspect, who definitely looks back. You can see the dog sniffing towards the child as she plays keep away with the treat. Ava is firm in not giving the cookie back to Brano despite the dad trying to distract her. The dog sits down beside her, looking at her in sad eyes but the little girl made it clear that no one else was having any treat if she wasn’t having one also.

It is pretty interesting how Brano could have easily used his size to knock Ava over and take his treat which belonged to him, but instead chooses to sit still by her side and wait politely until she offers to give it back herself. There is no growling, no snapping, and no barking. What the dad captured on camera is pure canine magic and amazing behavior. Watch the video, the father is trying to make his daughter feel bad for ‘stealing’ the treat, but she completely ignores him.
