Loyal dog run after family’s car (Video)

Heartbreaking footage shows the loyal pooch running in pursuit after it became clear the two women inside it were trying to leave without it. The incident took place in the municipality of Coyoacan, in Mexico City, and was shared on social media by ‘Josu Coria’ who says he saw the pooch being abandoned by the side of the road before the camera started rolling. .

He shared the video online where it has received over 288,000 views and he added the message: “I was walking my dogs when this dog was abandoned by this lady and her daughter. Before I recorded this the dog was running behind the car, and you can clearly see the dog wants to get into the car but they just ignore it”. The footage shows the poor pupper desperately running after the vehicle.

The video has caused outrage among netizens, with one user writing: “I hope with all my heart, dog, that someone with a big heart gives you water or offers you a blanket as a bed, and when you wake up, you will be wagging your tail and well fed. I hope you find your family soon.” No arrests have been reported and it is unclear if the dog was rescued or reunited with its owners.
