Dog can’t contain himself when reunited with owner (Video)

I can’t even imagine how I would react if my pet were to disappear without a trace. Losing a furry friend is never easy. Whether they’ve passed on, gotten lost, or even stolen – as soon as they are gone, a huge part of us is missing. But sometimes, luck is on our side, and this was certainly the case for this man. That was the case for one Florida man who hadn’t seen his dog Mary Jane, a pit bull mix, for 7 months!

Mary Jane was stolen from her owner 7 months ago. Somehow, she ended up at Collier County Domestic Animal Services Department in Naples, Florida. Either the thief released her or she managed to escape. While she was staying at the animal shelter, Mary Jane received a new name: Chloe. When animal services uploaded a photo of “Chloe” and asked if anyone wanted to adopt her, her real family saw the pic and contacted the shelter right away.

Soon after, the shelter captured the high-energy moment when the pit bull mix, Mary Jane, greeted the man, who appears to be her favorite person in the world. Mary Jane licks her friend’s face over and over again as he purses his lips shut. He lifts his head away for a second and tells her, “I’ve gotta breathe!” Now, she’s back in the loving arms of her family.
