The cat’s reaction is hilarious (Video)

Cats are the best pets you can have, cats are the worst pets you can have and probably for the same reason. Their quirkiness and how unpredictable they are can be both endearing and frustrating. Philo, the long haired Siamese somehow manages to do both. He made millions of Internet users fall in love and laugh with him while simultaneously annoying the hell out of his owner with one simple act.

Most cats meow or scratch at the door when they want to come inside, but Philo is much more human than feline. Recently, Philo’s dad, Brian, took nearly two hours out of the sunny afternoon to install a new cat door for his feline majesty could come and go as he pleases, but Philo had other plans instead. I couldn’t stop laughing! As much as cats are cute, they can sometimes drive their owners up the wall with their attitude. This feline wants to be treated like everyone else.

He made sure to stand back when it was all said and done, calling Philo over to capture his reaction to the new contraption on camera. “Try out your new door,” Dad says. “Good Kitty!” Philo wanders up to the front door with hesitation. He doesn’t seem to be excited by the prospect of having a cat door, looking back into the camera a few times to make sure everything is copacetic. Dad’s encouragement seems to bring him closer and closer to the useful new door flap, but just when you think Dad’s efforts are about to pay off, Philo reminds us how smart and sassy these pets can truly be!
