Policeman smashes car window to save boiling dog, watch what happens next!

He smashes car window to save dog

Dramatic moment… a suffocating dog was close to death when these police officers took drastic action. A heroic police officer smashed his way into a car to rescue a hot hound who had been left locked for more than three hours inside in stifling Spanish temperatures. The numerous prevention campaigns on this issue does not appear to have been taken seriously by all dog owners and that’s why this story must be shared.

The dog had been left locked in the vehicle in searing 35C heat and was minutes away from death when the officer stepped in, according to reports. The Civil Guard were only in the area by chance after receiving a call about illegal squatting at a house. While the officers failed to find squatters at the scene, they found a locked silver car parked nearby with a desperate dog trapped inside with no ventilation. The officers repeatedly tried to call the owner of the vehicle, a 29-year-old from Bulgaria, but there was no answer. They even used a megaphone to try to see if the owner was close by but still no-one showed up.

A very dangerous situation!

The dramatic clip shows the Spanish civil guardsman swiftly breaking the vehicle’s window before helping the desperate dog down to the ground. The boiling dog can be heard panting and wheezing before crawling into the shade, collapsing to the floor in the city of Alicante. Many people still believe that it’s ok to leave a dog in a car on a warm day if the windows are left open or they’re parked in the shade. The truth is, it’s still a very dangerous situation for the dog! That’s why this story must be shared.
