The surprise of a lifetime when she heard his voice (Video)

If you love animals, you are definitely going to love that moment. Lions are beautiful and incredible creatures, but we can only dream of being with these animals up-close. They are also known to be quite ferocious. So it always amazes us when we see someone else get personal with them. Most of us don’t go around mingling with them. But some brave souls aren’t afraid to. When we see our fellow human friends interacting with these amazing animals, we can only watch in awe.

The man, named Adolfo, he’s the first adoptive father of Kiara the lioness. Kiara, who is home at the Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation grounds in Mexico. This beautiful lion is just one of 30 big cats who has been rescued by this Foundation so far. Kiara had the surprise of a lifetime when she heard Adolfo’s voice from the other side of her enclosure. And it’s amazing when you see Adolfo approach Kiara’s cage and do the unthinkable. When the cage opened and the lioness jumped out, I was expecting for the worse. Adolfo is not at all scared of the giant animals even though the lion charging at him with full speed. But what happened instead took my breath away. 

You can just feel the love

As soon as he calls her name she recognises him and jumps on him, holding him around the waist, nuzzling and playing. And while the first few seconds are a little scary (who knows how she’ll react!), it’s soon clear that Kiara remembers Adolfo and wants to play with him. And what else can Adolfo do but be tossed around like a rag doll by Kiara? She could easily hurt him but instead chooses to play with her old friend and lick his hand. And Adolfo doesn’t seem frightened at all, even when she play-fights him to the ground. It looks like Adolfo is just one of the pride. This moment touched my heart! Watch the video, it will certainly make you go hug your pets!
