Tear jerking moment, owner is reunited with his stolen dog after 2 years!

This is the adorable moment a dog is reunited with his owner after he was stolen over two-years-ago. Dog owner Jose, of Columbus, Wisconsin, was forced to give up his pup Chaos after falling on hard times after going through a divorce and was forced to live in his vehicle and becoming homeless. But when he was back on his feet three months later, the acquaintance who’d taken Chaos in refused to give him back.

Jose told Winnebago County Animal Services, “I didn’t think I would ever see my dog again.” But after two long years, Jose received an email notifying him that his dog’s microchip information needed to be updated. Unbelievably, the same day, Jose’s phone rang – and on the other end was the animal shelter, who told him that Chaos had been founded in South Beloit, Illinois, around 80 miles away.

Fortunately, Chaos’ microchip was still registered to Jose’s contact information, so he was informed easily. The adorable dog, although nervous at first, soon recognizes his owner and excitedly jumps up at him, covering him in affectionate licks. Jose revealed his children were equally excited to see their old dog. “This has taken a huge weight off of my shoulders and has made my entire week!”. “I was speechless and I couldn’t stop smiling. I just couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t get to the shelter fast enough. I couldn’t wait for it to open so I could see Chaos. I left at 8am today and had an hour and a half drive, so I was very anxious. I haven’t been happier! Thank you so much to all of your staff for all you do. I will always appreciate you.”
