Look at what the dog does!

I can only imagine how happy these parents were to catch their baby crawling, but they should be just as proud of what their dog does! Dogs’re sweet, smart, and can be very gentle. I grew up with dogs all my life, and they always seemed to know to keep an eye on us. They would follow us around the house, and even follow us when we were outside. They do say that dogs are a man’s best friend, but what about a baby’s best friend? This gorgeous five-month-old baby was having trouble with getting started on his first crawl, when his pet Jack Russell came to help him out.

Babies learn through imitation and this could certainly be the case for this baby and the family dog. The sweet connection between this baby and his dog is just one of the most adorable things I’ve ever seen. You can almost hear the dog saying “come on, come on, you can do this!” Dogs are truly some of the sweetest creatures. Parents everywhere walk around on their two legs, and expect babies to pick up crawling on all fours by nature. Maybe getting a four-legged friend is the answer – it seems to be if this evidence is anything to go by.

The baby’s face is totally priceless!

When this five-month-old baby seems hesitant, the family pet crouches down and gives some paws-on help – a demonstration. And of course the look on the baby’s face is totally priceless as he intently watches the dog, almost like he’s taking mental notes. After noticing that his teeny-tiny owner is having difficulty, he gets on down to show him how it’s done! The excellent teacher graciously provides helpful pointers as if to say, “Eyes on me, boy!” Watch the video because you don’t want to miss this moment, it’s the cutest thing ever!
