The woman refused to slow down (Video)

The two women can be heard debating what to do as they should do as they approach the bridge on which the flock is congregated. But rather than stop, or even slow down and sound their horn, the pair decide the best course of action is drive at them full-tilt in the hope they move. The motorist replies: “I’m gonna keep going,” and ploughs through the fleeing wildfowl.

Some of the birds at the front of the group manage to fly out of the way, but those towards the rear are knocked down like bowling pins, with their remains splattering up onto the vehicle. ‘They didn’t move,’ one of the women screams as they both laugh hysterically, before adding:‘There’s so many dead on the road’. The passenger exclaims to the driver: ‘You murderer’ but neither of them show a great deal of remorse. She refuses to slow down and ploughing through the flock to the shrieking laughter of his passengers.

As they continue down the road, they carry on screaming remarks such as ‘that was a birdstorm’ and ‘they’re all laying dead in the road.’ Eventually, the driver begins to show a bit of guilty and says: ‘I don’t think I’ve ever hit a bird before, did you hear them?’ The women are mother and daughter, although it is not clear where the video was taken. Watch the video, the woman, clearly still amused, is heard again, saying: “I just feel like they are lying on the road, dead. Why didn’t they move, they saw us coming?”
